Neo Racing will now follow ESG frameworks

We are delighted to announce that our director has successfully completed a comprehensive course on ESG, which stands for Environment, Social, and Governance. This educational experience will be instrumental in shaping and implementing competition-ready policies that align with modern standards and expectations. While the policy framework we currently utilise has already been adapted to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving world, the insights gained from this course have significantly illuminated the various challenges we face. More importantly, it has provided us with actionable strategies to adapt our existing policies effectively, thereby enabling us to fully embrace and expand our efforts within the ESG bandwidth.

To ensure clarity and ease of understanding, the policy documents will be reorganised into a new layout that distinctly categorises them into the three critical strands of ESG. This structured approach will not only enhance accessibility but also facilitate a more focused discussion on each aspect of our policy.

As we move forward, we expect our policy framework to evolve significantly in several key areas:

  • Environmental: This section will encompass our initiatives under the BetterGreen program, which aims to promote sustainable practices both within Neo Racing and in our external collaboration scheme. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint, enhancing resource efficiency, and promoting biodiversity, ensuring that our operations are environmentally responsible and contribute positively to the planet.

  • Social: Here, we will focus on fostering a collaborative environment that emphasises teamwork and ethical conduct. This includes our commitment to inclusion, ensuring that all team members feel valued and supported. We will also address how we engage with our community and stakeholders, striving to create positive social impacts through our activities and outreach efforts.

  • Governance: This aspect will outline the leadership structure of our team and the policies that govern our operations. It will detail the frameworks for task management, communication protocols, and collaborative practices. By establishing clear governance policies, we aim to enhance accountability, transparency, and ethical decision-making within our organisation.

In addition to these structural changes, Charles is actively working on developing a short training sessions and informational forms focused on ESG principles for our team members. These training initiatives will serve to raise awareness and deepen understanding of ESG concepts, empowering our team to integrate these principles into their daily work. As the leader of BetterGreen, Charles will also then provide additional support to assist participating teams and ensure they feel heard through his new understanding of ESG. By leading a culture of sustainability and ethical governance, we aim to position ourselves as leaders in Stem Racing, committed to making a meaningful difference in the world.
